Media Arts Center San Diego, a nonprofit organization, was entering its 33rd year producing the San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF). After selecting the winner of the annual poster competition, it was time to bring the campaign to life through the festival catalog.

approach

Having designed the SDLFF posters in 2023 and 2024, I saw an opportunity to push beyond a visual system that had been in place for nearly a decade. For 2026, I broke from the established framework and introduced a more contemporary direction for the festival.
